Delivery Checklist

How to Prepare Your Driveway for a Dumpster Delivery

A few minutes of preparation can make delivery easier and keep the dumpster accessible throughout the rental. Use this checklist before the driver arrives.

Choose a clear, reachable placement area

Pick a firm, level area that the delivery truck can approach and leave safely. Tell Toss Boss about narrow entrances, steep grades, gates, shared driveways, or soft ground before delivery.

  • Move vehicles, trailers, basketball hoops, and portable equipment
  • Unlock gates and confirm the opening is wide enough
  • Keep children and pets away from the delivery area
  • Mark the preferred position if you will not be home

Look up as well as around

Delivery requires vertical clearance. Check for low tree limbs, utility lines, roof overhangs, and other overhead obstructions along the truck's approach and the intended placement area.

Keep the dumpster accessible for pickup

Do not park in front of the container or stack material above the fill line. The pickup route should be as clear as it was on delivery day. Contact Toss Boss early if site conditions change.

Ready to Schedule?

Toss Boss will review the details and confirm availability before the rental is final.
